Manic Maze & Manic Maze Mobile
Date: December 19th 2006, Final version Put Back!
I know, I only announced the release of Manic Maze only a couple of days ago, but I have reasons to why it is getting held back, as some people know, Manic Maze v1.1 has been released to my friends on CD, the final version v1.1a was on its way, with the timings of all the levels included CD version did not have this due to rushing it out.
So why have I pushed it back?
This is due to some more development on the main game engine, the timings were going to be completed, but I didn't like the timing format, if you played the Demo, (Which should be on its way soon) you will see that the time was done in a weird format. "Time: 4500" then counted down to 0, although this was ok, and done the job it didn't really give you an idea on how long the level was in real times.
This is why the release was pushed back, I have recently just developed some code to instead show the timings as:
"Time Remaining: 1:30"
As this feature is new, it will need some testing, but because of the way the "Trinium Faw" game engine works, this is easy to add and easy to remove features.
So when can we see the final?
Hopefully the release date will still go ahead for this saturday (as stated before), I am just saying that this may push the release back a little.

Manic Maze v1.1 - Is only available on CD for my close friends as a kind of "BETA"
Manic Maze v1.1a - has been scrapped, and is re-announced as;
Manic Maze v1.2 - Is the new version coming next, with the updated clock system.
